Global ambition. Local access. No borders.

The smarter way to an American degree.

Man giving thumbs up

The old model of international education is broken. Between embassy appointments, astronomical out-of-state tuition, and rigid schedules, the system is designed to keep you out.

At Newstate University, we’ve rebuilt it from the ground up. We provide a high-velocity, tech-first education that empowers you to earn a U.S. degree from anywhere in the world. Whether you are in Lagos, London, or Lima, you get the same radically affordable $300/month flat monthly tuition. No hidden fees. No debt. Just pure progress.

International admission requirements

1. Prove your identity

All you need is a photo of your government-issued ID (Passport, National ID, or Driver’s License) and a quick selfie for identity verification.

2. Share your academic history

ID (Passport, National ID, or Driver’s License) and a picture of yourself for identity verification.

3. Demonstrate English proficiency

See our catalog for specific minimum score requirements if your education and transcript were not originally in English.

Applicants whose native language is not English, or who have not completed a secondary or postsecondary credential taught primarily in English, must demonstrate English language proficiency prior to official admittance. Acceptable evidence includes a minimum score on the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, or another recognized English proficiency examination, or completion of a secondary or postsecondary credential from an institution where English was the primary language of instruction.

Applicants can meet this requirement through either of the following options:

  • Option 1: Submitting official test scores that meet or exceed the minimum score for an accepted assessment (listed below).

  • Option 2: Providing official documentation showing that English was the primary language of instruction at their previous secondary or postsecondary school.

Note: Unofficial documentation may be used for initial admissions evaluation for provisional admission, but official transcript evaluations are required for final approval.

Minimum accepted scores differ by admission level, as shown below.
