Resolution Procedures
Newstate University wants all students to have an excellent experience with us. If you have any concerns, please contact us first for resolution - we'd love the opportunity to make this right for you.

Complaint/Grievance Procedure
The Newstate University Complaint Resolution Policy (See Academic Catalog) provides a structured process for learners to seek resolution of disputes or complaints. In most cases, issues can be resolved through discussions with faculty or Newstate University's Student Complaint Resolution Officer. Learners have the right to seek help or resolution if they feel that they have been unfairly treated based upon the policy and procedures of the University and were unable to resolve the situation. Please find full processes and procedures in the University Catalog. The below is an overview of the process.
Learners submit their complaint to the Student Complaint Resolution Officer at admin@newstateu.com and include the following information:
- A detailed description of the complaint, including relevant dates and individuals involved
- Steps already taken to resolve the issue
- Any relevant supporting documentation
- The resolution the learner is seeking
Upon receiving a complaint, the Student Complaint Resolution Officer acknowledges receipt and completes any necessary investigation within 10 business days, and provides written notification of the resolution to the learner within 20 business days thereafter. The maximum time for resolution of a complaint is 30 business days from receipt.
Appeal Process
If a learner is not satisfied with the resolution, the learner may submit a written appeal to the Student Complaint Resolution Officer within 10 business days of receiving the resolution notification. The Officer reviews the appeal and issues a final determination, which is not subject to further internal appeal.
